HOME THEATRE

1st let me introduce about me little bit, I’m an interior designer and I love watching movies in a theatre and I love home theatre so as a part of my job and as a personal interest I learn about building home theatres. so I though to share my ideas and my knowledge about home theatres.. it can be helpful to you if your thinking to create your own home theatre.  Sometimes we are not able to go out and watch movies in theatres and now a days in covid situation it is very difficult to go out and watch. if you are movies and series fan then what is the best option other than home theatre. To chill on weekends in a comfy home outfit just go to home theatre decide what to watch.. you can watch your fav movies, series, sports etc.  sit on a relaxing recliner and don’t forgot to take popcorn with you.. it is a great experience altogether.

What is a home theatre –

An entertainment set-up consisting of television and video equipment, it is designed to reproduce at home the experience of being in a cinema; a home cinema. A home theatre is a dedicated unit in your home, design to enjoy an immersive experience of movies, sports, music or other audio- video presentation.

In the 1980s, home cinemas typically consisted of a movie pre-recorded on a Laserdisc or VHS tape and a heavy, bulky large-screen cathode ray tube TV set, although sometimes CRT projectors were used instead. Technological innovations in sound systems, video player equipment and TV screens and video projectors have changed the equipment used in home cinema set-ups and enabled home users to experience a higher-resolution screen image, improved sound quality in the 2000s,. Some studies show films are rated better and generate more intense emotions when watched in a movie theatre. however, convenience is a major appeal for home cinemas. In a home theatre most imp is to get more comfort while watching movies/series etc.

So now what we need to build a home theatre –

1st we need a specific room and AV system.

Acoustic treatment is a crucial part of a building home theatre. With acoustic treatment you can make every piece of equipment perform better.

Then we need a screen that fits perfectly to the room size.. there are different types and companies available in screens, we need to select as per our choice. Then we need projector every year brand introduces new projectors so prize changes as per technology. selection of best projector is imp. because we can’t compromise on picture quality.

Surround sound speaker system – for fully immersive experience I strongly recommend surround speaker setup with front and canter channel speakers, subwoofers and effective channels. to choose right and trending speakers we need to visit electronics malls/shops.

Home theatre AV receiver – this is the brain of an entire audio setup. This controls the surround sound processing, video switching and amplification of your speaker.

And at the end we need to connect entire system to each other so for those cables and wifi connection is imp.

Home theatre seating – the best experience comes with the most comfortable seating..  for that we can install typical theatre chairs to large comfy couches for better feel recliners.

With this information you can prepare to build home theatre but at the end you need a expert designer to build best experience home theatre.

Trails of Nature.

This  place is around  panchaganga river. It is a river side area. Panchaganga river is located in city called Kolhapur in Maharashtra. There are innumerable natural beauties on both sides of the rivers. There is a agriculture lands on the both sides of river. Nature can make us feel great and improve our mental health.

First ill tell you how this place is discovered  and became my fav place, so  In lockdown may 2020, when people are not allowed to go out much, that time people who stays near panchaganga river go to this place for a walk. Because there is a lot of greenery here and unlimited free oxygen. Actually it is a farm area. There is a  sugarcane farm in a large scale. and same other types of farming also. It is a beautiful walkway through farm to the riverside. This place is not much explored by people so it is not so crowdy, That makes this place more beautiful.

Now ill tell you about my experience about this place. My experience is little bit  different from others.  I live near this place so when I was young in school I used to go to there with my friends for fun and to take away some sugarcanes home. And by the time getting older and getting busy with college life we forgot about that place day by day… and they suddenly is lockdown someone told me about that place. Then  I remember all my childhood memories about this place. One day I decide to go there and relive old memories. I went there in may 2020. and it is whole new feeling and experience all together.. with a nostalgia in the background.

The journey starts by beautiful rough walkway through sugarcanes and old big different types of trees.. while passing by I met with some cute and some angry cows and buffalo’s. in every direction there is a endless greenery, when you reach at the location there is a huge and calmly flowing panchaganga river.

I sat there on a grass by riverside.. looking at the flow…looking at the fresh blue color of a sky. by the time, changing colors of sky with the sun going down in mountains..  now it is a twilight time.. freezing fresh air.. lots of different types of birds chirping and going there home.. now a days we don’t see them usually in city life… sound of nature is releasing mental stress.. feeling  great from inside. Not in a mood to go back to home in a every day busy life.. but I have to.. so then I decide to come here again and again on weekends to recharge my soul.. and come back to home with those peaceful feelings.

This place is mindfulness in its simplest form.
